The Methodology of Teaching Social-Humanitarian Sciences (History) program requires students to earn 30 credits per semester, totaling 60 credits per academic year. The duration of the program is 2 years, and students must accumulate 120 credits by the end of the program.

Professional duties

In accordance with the 7th qualification level of the National Qualifications Framework and the fields, objects, and types of professional activities for the specialty 70220303 – Methodology of Teaching Social-Humanitarian Sciences (History), Master’s graduates must be capable of performing the following professional duties.

In scientific-pedagogical activities:

Conducting scientific and applied research, analyzing experimental results, drawing scientifically grounded conclusions, and discovering scientific innovations;

Possessing skills in conducting scientific and applied research, processing experimental results, drawing scientifically grounded conclusions, preparing and editing scientific articles, organizing and conducting scientific seminars, conferences, and symposia, and developing scientific projects;

Knowledge of using information and pedagogical technologies in pedagogical activities;

Knowledge of innovative approaches to improving the quality and effectiveness of education;

Ability to work independently in positions requiring higher education within the scope of their specialty;

Ability to continue scientific research as a basic doctoral student or independent researcher at higher education institutions, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, or branch research institutes;

Preparation for acquiring additional professional education in the system of retraining and professional development;

Ability to apply principles of historicity, accuracy, objectivity, and reliability in their work;

Possessing skills in developing and implementing advanced foreign experiences, informational, and simulation models related to the topics of theoretical and applied work.

Requirements for practical training

Scientific practice involves familiarization with the organization of educational processes in higher education institutions, including the structure and functions of departments, normative and directive documents for the educational process, acquiring initial pedagogical skills, participating in scientific activities conducted at educational institutions, and performing tasks during the practical training period under the supervision of a mentor, as well as developing methodological plans for teaching the chosen subject.
