History of the Department of Distance Learning in Social Sciences and Humanities:
The Department of Distance Learning in Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the prominent academic and pedagogical teams at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, particularly in the External (Special External) Department. The department was established in 2022. It is currently headed by Farrux Aqchayev, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences and Associate Professor. The department trains bachelors in the fields of 60111100 – History and 5112000 – Physical Education. Currently, the department has a total of 18 faculty members, of whom 3 hold academic degrees. The academic potential rate is 45.4%. Specifically, 3 faculty members are Candidates of Sciences and Doctors of Philosophy (A. Xatamov, F. Aqchayev, D. Eryigitov).
