Department of Preschool Education Methodology – Center for Childhood Development, Education and Teaching Methods
The Department of Preschool Education Methodology specializes in training specialists who work with preschool children, ensuring their intellectual, social and aesthetic development. The curriculum includes such subjects as preschool pedagogy, preschool psychology, game activity methodology, speech development, music and art education. During the internship, students gain experience in teaching classes in preschool educational institutions, conducting educational work and organizing developmental games. The scientific activity of the department is aimed at improving preschool educational methods, implementing national and foreign best practices, and developing programs aimed at the individual development of children. Graduates work as kindergarten teachers, methodologists, and heads of preschool educational organizations.

Organization
The Department of Preschool Education Methodology was established in 2002 at the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute. The department was established with the aim of training qualified educators and methodologists for the preschool education system, and creating scientific and methodological developments. The first leadership was held by the candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Odinakhon Jamoliddinova.
Development stages
In 2008–2011, the department was headed by senior teacher Gulnara Kushokova. In 2011–2013, associate professor Rustam Abdurasulov, in 2013–2015, associate professor Anvar Meliboyev, and in 2015–2018, associate professor Bakhtiyor Soatov. From 2019 to the present, the department has been headed by the candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor Hamidulla Meliyev. During this period, the curriculum was improved, new disciplines were introduced, and the scope of scientific research expanded.
Current activities
The department employs 26 professors and teachers, some of whom have the academic title of professor or associate professor. Modern pedagogical technologies, innovative teaching methods, and interactive classes on the development of preschool children are used in the educational process. In recent years, members of the department have created 3 monographs, dozens of scientific articles, several patents and copyright certificates. Within the framework of international cooperation, joint projects are being implemented with Moscow State Pedagogical University and St. Petersburg State University.
