In the program “Information Technologies in Education,” a student must earn 30 credits per semester and 60 credits per academic year. The duration of study is 2 years, during which the student must accumulate 120 credits by the end of the program.

For a Master’s degree, one ECTS credit corresponds to 30 academic hours, and a student’s annual academic load consists of 60 credits, equivalent to 1800 academic hours. Of these, 50% are classroom hours, and 50% are independent study hours. The volume of credits to be mastered by the student during a semester includes mandatory and elective courses listed in the course catalog.

A higher education institution is considered authorized to train personnel in this master’s specialty if it has the authority to implement the main curriculum and course programs.

Graduates are also entitled to engage in scientific-pedagogical research at the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, in sectoral research institutes, or as independent researchers.

70610105 — According to the specialty “Information Technologies in Education,” in line with the 7th level of the National Qualifications Framework, as well as the areas, objects, and types of professional activity, a master’s graduate must be capable of performing the following professional tasks:

In scientific-research and pedagogical activity:

Researching scientific and technical sources of information on computer technologies published in the republic and abroad;

Conducting scientific and practical research relevant to the specialty, analyzing experimental results, and formulating scientifically grounded conclusions, discovering scientific innovations;

Preparing and editing scientific articles, reports, brochures, and educational literature, developing scientific reviews on the topics of ongoing research;

Targeted searching and analyzing information on the latest scientific, design, technological, and operational achievements in scientific literature and the internet;

Participating and actively engaging in the organization and conduct of scientific seminars, conferences, and symposia;

Conducting pedagogical activity in the specialty at higher education institutions, retraining, and professional development institutions;

Organizing the educational process and scientific activity, conducting classes using modern information and pedagogical technologies and technical teaching aids;

Researching and developing models, algorithms, and methods related to the topics of ongoing research projects.
