On October 16, a meeting and seminar were organized at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University with the participation of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, employers, and representatives of partner organizations.

It was attended by Mahmarasul Umarov, Head of the Jizzakh regional Health Department, heads of district health departments, and Orzubek Ergashev, representative of JSC “O’zmilliybank” for the “Step into the Future” program.

The meeting discussed issues of more than 500 vacant jobs in the region’s medical institutions, employing graduates in jobs matching their specialties, and supporting young specialists.

Furthermore, graduates were explained the opportunities through the “Step into the Future” program to start entrepreneurial activity and implement business projects.

At the end of the event, views were exchanged on ensuring graduate employment and developing cooperation with employers.
