Students and professors of the Faculty of Medicine participated in the roundtable discussion held with the participation of the Deputy Mayor of Jizzakh region for relations with public and religious organizations L.E. Akhmadjonov. At the event called “Enlightenment against Ignorance”, the speakers expressed their views on humanitarian ideas of Islam, correct interpretation of religion, religious extremism, its negative consequences, problems in this regard, and similar issues.

Those who spoke also said that students should follow the rules of discipline of the internal order of the university and dress code. They mentioned that there are cases of illegal and secret religious education of some young people. At the end of the interview, the young students asked questions within the topic of interest to them.
