A spiritual and educational event on the theme “Sharof Rashidov — A Patriotic Politician and Great Writer” was held at the Faculty of Philology of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

First-year students of the Uzbek Language and Literature specialization participated in the event. The event was led by faculty teacher D.Ochilov.

During the meeting, discussions were held on Sharof Rashidov’s work in literature and politics, his selfless labor for the benefit of the people, and his services on the path to Uzbekistan’s development.

Participants learned about the transformations implemented in the fields of culture, education, science, and industry in our country during Rashidov’s leadership.

At the end of the event, students exchanged views on the life and works of the writer and politician, and his place in our nation’s history, emphasizing that the personality of Sharof Rashidov is a school of inspiration for the youth.
