On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Independence Cup” sports competitions are being held among professors, teachers, and staff at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University under the idea of “As one Motherland, as one people, we create a new life and future!”

Within the framework of the competitions, contests in athletics, volleyball, table tennis, and chess/checkers have been launched.

Volleyball matches are seeing intense and competitive encounters between teams. Participants are demonstrating teamwork, agility, and sportsmanship.

In table tennis, participants’ speed, precision, and technical skills are being put to the test.

In the chess and checkers competitions, faculty and staff are demonstrating their strategic thinking, logical approach, and intellectual potential.

The main purpose of organizing these sports competitions is to promote a healthy lifestyle among the university community, popularize sports, foster a healthy competitive environment, and strengthen team solidarity.

The competitions are ongoing. Based on the final results, winners and prize-winners will be awarded medals, diplomas, and valuable gifts.
