Startup Project Competition on the Theme ‘Corruption – A Threat to the Future’

In order to implement clause 6.3 of Resolution No. 3 of the Board of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 12, 2025, a startup project competition on the theme “Corruption – A Threat to the Future” was held on September 22, 2025, at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

In the competition, talented students from various faculties participated with their ideas and presented innovative proposals for combating corruption.

Based on the results:

  • Majidova Zebiniso, a student of the Faculty of Philology, won 1st place and was awarded a cash prize of 3 million UZS.
  • Olimjonov Hasan, a student of the Faculty of Philology, and G‘iyosov Samandar, a student of the Faculty of History, shared 2nd place and each received 2 million UZS.
  • Asatova Iroda, a student of the Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education, together with Baxtiboyeva Sevinch, a student of the Faculty of Philology, were awarded 3rd place and received 1 million UZS each.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners and participants were awarded diplomas and cash prizes. This competition serves to foster a spirit of anti-corruption among young people, support their initiative, and strengthen the culture of integrity in society.
