Organizational Matter and New Appointment

The meeting at the Faculty of Philology began with an organizational matter. Jizzakh State Pedagogical University Rector Maqsud Yuldashev announced that the faculty dean, Fazilat Ibragimova, had moved to another position and declared that Sherzod Xoliqulovich Jabborov had been appointed as the new Dean of the Faculty of Philology in her place. The rector invited the new dean to perform his responsible duties conscientiously and to create a unique atmosphere and modern design for each specialization within the faculty.

New Initiative – Introducing the Uzbek Language to the World

During the meeting, the teaching staff of the Uzbek Language and Literature department were tasked with organizing special 6-month online courses for teaching the Uzbek language to foreigners. The goal is to promote not only the language but also Uzbek culture on a global scale. — “Uzbek culture spreads through the Uzbek language,” emphasized Rector Maqsud Yuldashev.

Incentives Based on Scientific Potential

On this occasion, the rector announced that departments with a scientific potential exceeding 50 percent would be incentivized. It was particularly highlighted that the Methodology of Teaching Uzbek Literature Department ranked first across the university, with its scientific potential level exceeding 74 percent. The team of this department will be incentivized with a 50 percent bonus. This initiative serves to further enhance the quality of education and the effectiveness of scientific activities.

Suggestions and Discussions

During the meeting, the suggestions and comments of the professors and teachers were heard. It was established that suggestions which are appropriate, of practical importance, and serve to enhance the university’s potential would be supported.

Culture of Communication – The Key to Results

At the end of the meeting, the rector specifically emphasized the importance of the culture of communication.— “We can enter the list of top 1000 universities. But if we do not correct our culture of communication, achieving this result will be difficult. Having sincere and simple relationships with students is also a major achievement,” said Maqsudjon Yuldashev.The ideas expressed and the tasks set at the meeting serve to elevate the Faculty of Philology to a new stage and enhance the university’s prestige and effectiveness.
