“We are all in the same boat, and how we sail depends on us,” said Minister of Preschool and School Education E’zoza Karimova at the meeting held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.
At the beginning of the event, the minister spoke about the tasks set within the framework of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 73, “On Measures to Further Improve the System of Training Pedagogical Personnel.”
— “Today, we clearly know what kind of specialists are needed in preschools and schools. This Decree bridges the gap between school and higher education. We must not forget that the processes of transformation will not stop. Every teacher and educator must work in step with the times. Great tasks lie ahead of us, and fulfilling them sincerely depends on both you and us,” emphasized Minister E’zoza Karimova.
After that, the minister introduced **Maqsud Abdullayevich Yuldashev**, who had been appointed as the new rector of the university by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. In turn, Rector Maqsud Yuldashev expressed his readiness to work together for the future of the university, to improve the quality of education, and to achieve new milestones.
At the end of the meeting, veteran teachers described the day as a significant event in the university’s history and expressed confidence that under the leadership of the new rector, the team would achieve even greater success.
