Since the start of the academic year at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, walking marathons have been organized in all faculties and higher schools with the participation of professors, teachers, tutors, and students. More than 5,000 students were involved during the marathons.

Today, early in the morning, the final, university-wide stage of the walking marathon was held. It was attended by nearly 1,000 students led by their tutors.

The marathon started from the university grounds and continued through the Youth Town. This initiative was aimed at increasing the physical activity of students, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening the spirit of teamwork.
