An international scientific-practical conference on the topic “The Role and Tasks of Physical Education and Sports in an Innovative, Digitalized, and Globalized Society” was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University on November 17-18.

The conference was opened by the University Rector, Professor Maqsudjon Yuldashev. In his speech, he emphasized that international cooperation is increasingly strengthening in today’s process of globalization, and such scientific forums play an important role in strengthening cooperative ties.

He also spoke about the achievements being made in the field of sports and the interconnectedness of physical health and sports.

Before the event, commemorative gifts and national garments were presented to the guests who had arrived from foreign and neighboring countries.

This prestigious forum was attended by professors and teachers from local and foreign higher education institutions, scientific researchers, leading specialists in the field of sports, and young scientists.

Within the framework of the conference, scientific presentations were heard and practical experiences were exchanged on current issues such as innovative pedagogical technologies, the digitalization of the physical education system, modern sports medicine, sports psychology, and the development of mass sports.

The event served to support scientific research in the field of physical education and sports, introduce advanced foreign experiences into the educational process, and promote a healthy lifestyle among youth.

The conference was conducted in three languages — Uzbek, Russian, and English.

After the conference, the guests familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the university and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, and visited the “Memory of the Victims of Repression” museums.
