A preventive campaign against drug addiction was held at JSPU.

A comprehensive preventive awareness event was organized at the Palace of Culture of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University within the framework of the month dedicated to “Preventing the Spread of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Among Youth.”

The main goal of the event was to form a healthy lifestyle mindset among students, encourage them to stay away from harmful habits, and further expand their understanding of the negative socio-legal consequences of drug and psychotropic substance use.

During the event, medical specialists and representatives of law enforcement agencies provided detailed information on the impact of drug addiction on human health, the stability of the family and society, as well as the liability measures established by legislation. Through a question-and-answer session, students’ opinions and feedback on the topic were heard.

At the end of the event, a play titled “The Evening” (“Kech”), staged by the university’s “Ilhom” Student Theater Studio, was presented. This stage performance artistically portrayed the severe and irreversible consequences of drug addiction, leaving a deep impression on the audience.

This event was significant as an important spiritual and educational initiative aimed at establishing a healthy lifestyle among youth and preventing offenses.
