The delegation of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University paid an official visit to the City University of New York (CUNY), located in New York City, USA.

As part of the visit, the delegation met with Dr. Burnett Joiner, Head of the School of Education, and Dr. Ralf Peetz, Head of the School of Science and Technology at CUNY University. They visited the faculties and gained a close familiarity with their educational processes, scientific laboratories, and innovative educational technologies.

The meetings discussed opportunities for joint scientific research, faculty exchange, short-term educational programs for students, and the implementation of modern technologies into the educational process.


Additionally, the JSPU delegation participated in an “International Relations and Language” class session organized by Dr. Jane Marcus, a professor at the School of Education.
Furthermore, the parties reached agreements on jointly organizing teacher professional development programs, applying international best practices within Uzbekistan’s education system, and establishing long-term cooperation in pedagogy, STEM fields, and applied sciences.


This visit serves as one of the important steps in expanding the international relations of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, improving the quality of education, and enhancing its scientific potential.
