On the occasion of October 1 — ‘Teachers and Mentors Day,’ a series of educational, cultural, and sports events are being held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

As part of these events, in cooperation with the university administration and the trade union committee, chess competitions were organized among professors, teachers, and staff.

In the chess competitions, participants are demonstrating their skills, sharpness, and analytical thinking abilities. This once again highlights that the university community is distinguished not only in terms of physical fitness but also in intellectual capacity.
