A meeting between the Rector and students was held at the student dormitory as part of “Youth Day.”

On February 24 of this year, during a meeting held by the President of our country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with youth, an initiative was put forward to designate Thursdays as “Youth Day.” This initiative serves to further strengthen the dialogue between leaders and young people.

In connection with this, a meeting between the Rector and students was organized at the university’s student dormitories No. 1 and 2. Initially, students were served pilaf for iftar in honor of the month of Ramadan.

Subsequently, a face-to-face dialogue was held with students, led by the university rector Yuldashev Maqsudjan Abdullayevich, with the participation of vice-rectors and department heads. During the meeting, students expressed their existing problems and shortcomings, along with their opinions and suggestions.

The Rector emphasized that positive results would be achieved regarding all appeals and suggestions, and gave relevant instructions to the responsible persons. The conditions in the student dormitories were also examined.

At the end of the event, students continued with roundtable discussions around a bonfire and cultural leisure activities.
