The next seminar-training was held on May 30.
On May 30, 2025, the next scientific and practical seminar-training was organized in the “Circular Hall” of the Information Resource Center. The event was dedicated to the study of historical sources and the scientific approach to them.

The guest of the seminar-training was Nargiza Ikramovna Karimova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Historical Sciences, who provided the participants with theoretical and practical knowledge on historical source studies, sorting historical information, and a critical approach to them.

Seminar-training topic: “A critical approach to source research and selection of historical information: theory and practice”

During the event, participants received important information about modern methods used in working with historical materials, the formation of historical thinking, and the role of critical thinking in scientific research. At the end of the seminar, an open discussion was organized, and the expert provided detailed answers to the participants’ questions.

This seminar-training was useful for students engaged in scientific research, researchers, and specialists interested in history.
