Distinguished keynote lectures were delivered as part of the 16th International FLTAL Conference.

Amy Thompson highlighted the connection between personal identity and the socio-political environment, while Zhu Hua focused on the links between language, culture, and politics through translanguaging and interculturality.

Charlene Polio discussed the methodology for developing the concept of genre among diverse student groups. Additionally, panel discussions were organized within the framework of the conference, addressing issues of modern language education and multilingualism.

The first part of the conference concluded with a ceremonial awards ceremony, where the speakers and active participants were presented with certificates and commemorative gifts. The conference continues its work within its subsequent sections.
