An event was organized on the theme “Let’s Save the Earth.”
Planet Earth is about four and a half billion years old. More than 29 percent of it is land, the rest is seas and oceans. Although the cultivated land area is only 11 percent, it produces 88 percent of the food needed by humans.

The Faculty of Natural Sciences of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University – on the occasion of “EARTH DAY” – organized an event on the theme “Let’s save the Earth”. Speakers at the event called for a sense of the unity of our planet, for all forces to ensure security in the world, maintain international peace, and protect the Earth, which is the only home for all people.
