The “Dynamical Days in Jizzakh 2026” international school, organized by Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics, is continuing its work.

On September 17, with the participation of Professor Carlangelo Liverani of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, a public master class was organized in the university’s ARM lecture hall for 4th-year students of the Mathematics and Informatics field of study of the Higher School of Exact Sciences Pedagogy, as well as master’s students in mathematics.

The master class was also attended by 23 doctoral students, master’s students, and students who came from more than 10 higher education institutions in our republic and 2 foreign universities. During the session, Professor Carlangelo Liverani lectured on proving Lasota–Yorke type inequalities for transfer operators, demonstrating the quasi-compactness of transfer operators, as well as fundamental theorems of spectral theory, properties of transfer operators in Sobolev spaces, and standard pairs of probability measures and their properties under the influence of dynamical systems.

This master class gave participants the opportunity to become closely acquainted with scientific approaches in the field of modern dynamical systems and ergodic theory, and to exchange knowledge and experience within the framework of the international scientific school.
