A preventive visit was organized with the participation of students and youth.

Within the framework of the implementation of Decree No. PF–207 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2025, employees of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, the prevention inspector, and students visited Penal Colony No. 30.

The main purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the lives of convicts serving sentences for drug-related crimes and to form an understanding among young people about drug addiction and its severe consequences.

During the process, the students familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the institution, the system of social rehabilitation and psychological support for convicts. Also, a conversation was held based on real-life examples about the reasons for turning to crime and the negative impact of drug addiction on a person’s life and destiny.

During the open dialogue, it was particularly emphasized that drug addiction is a serious social problem not only for the individual, but also for their family and society.
