Seminar-training on the international databases “Scopus” and “Web of Science”
On September 4, 2025, a seminar-training titled “Registration and Access in International Research Databases” was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The event was organized to implement the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-73 of April 28, 2025, and its Annex 2, “Program of Measures for the Development of the Teacher Training System,” as well as the Order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education No. 314 of August 27, 2025.

 

More than 60 professors, doctoral students, and independent researchers took part in the seminar-training. Detailed information was provided on the procedures for publishing articles in the international databases Scopus and Web of Science, the standards for preparing and presenting scientific works, editorial policies, and publication ethics. Experts shared their experiences and answered participants’ questions.

During the event, students and researchers shared their suggestions and opinions on how to make effective use of international platforms, properly direct their articles, and further develop scientific research.

At the conclusion of the seminar-training, it was emphasized that the regular use of the Scopus and Web of Science databases is of great importance for the university community in enhancing the effectiveness of scientific research.
