As part of the domestic tourism development program “Travel around Uzbekistan” and in order to create the most favorable conditions for active recreation of employees, a trip to the city of Samarkand was organized on May 27, 2023 with the participation of 52 professors, teachers and employees of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The travelers first traveled to the “Gori Amir” shrine in Samarkand, then to the sights and architectural monuments of the ancient-historical and ever-famous city of Samarkand, Registan Complex, Bibikhanim Mosque, Shahizinda Historical Site, including one of the most auspicious places of our country – the First President of our country. They paid respect to Islam Karimov’s memory by visiting Islam Karimov’s mausoleum in the complex of the “Hazrati Khizr” mosque, where Islam Karimov rested forever. It should be noted that during the day, the travelers also got to know the changes in the city of Samarkand, the huge construction and beautification works that have been carried out in recent days.

Tourists were impressed by the sights, historical monuments, shrines and magnificent buildings of the city of Samarkand. Azim’s trip to Samarkand ended with a visit to the eternal city “Samarkand City”. It would not be wrong to say that the trip, organized by the university management and the trade union committee, gave all the participants great spiritual strength and motivated them to reach new heights.
