Presidential Greeting: New Benefits Introduced for Teachers.

On the occasion of October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s congratulatory message announced important initiatives aimed at appreciating the work of educators and further improving their living conditions.

The Head of State emphasized that a number of new opportunities will be created to advance the education sector and raise the status of teachers. In particular:

Mortgage Benefits – For highly qualified teachers with 15 years of service, 25 percent of the initial payment on a mortgage loan will be covered by the state.

Discounts for Children – A 30 percent tuition discount will be introduced for the children of teachers admitted to higher education institutions.

Credit for Purchasing Computers – Teachers will be provided with preferential loans of up to 10 million soums to purchase modern equipment.

Reduced Fees for Public Services – Starting from the new year, teachers will pay only half of the established fees for state services.

Education Loans for Young Teachers – Future teachers admitted to one of the world’s TOP-300 universities will be granted preferential education loans of up to 20,000 USD.

These new measures will undoubtedly strengthen the social protection of teachers in our country, ensure due recognition of their work, and have a positive impact on the quality of education.
