At Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, the third meeting of the University Council began with a ceremonial awards presentation.

On the occasion of October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Professor Furqat Ahmedov, was awarded the “Excellence in Physical Education and Sports” badge by the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Council meeting opened with congratulatory remarks from the university’s rector, Prof. Maqsud Yuldashev. The rector congratulated Prof. Furqat Ahmedov on receiving this high honor and wished him continued success—not only in educating young people but also in guiding the university’s students to achieve new milestones and outstanding results in various sports on the world stage.

Following this, a group of professors and teachers were ceremonially presented with certificates and diplomas confirming their academic titles and degrees, awarded by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
