A training seminar for faculty members based on the experience of Top-300 universities has begun at JDPU.

A training seminar for professors and teachers was organized at the university with the aim of improving the quality and effectiveness of education, as well as enhancing curricula based on the experience of the world’s TOP-300 higher education institutions.

This seminar will be held from January 5th to January 10th, 2026. Ravshan Juraevich Ishmuhamedov, Senior Lecturer at the Sectoral Center for “Retraining and Professional Development of Pedagogical Staff” under the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoiy, has been engaged for the seminar.

The first day of the three-day training sessions began with an interactive exercise called “Let’s Get Acquainted” — an impromptu introduction. This exercise served to strengthen interaction among participants, create a free environment, and ensure active participation.

During the seminar, contemporary pedagogical approaches, new teaching methods, and issues related to introducing interactive methods into the educational process are being thoroughly discussed. It is worth noting that on the 4th day of the seminar, the 30 most active participants will be selected as mentors, and additional training sessions will be conducted with them. Subsequently, these mentors are planned to organize similar innovative training sessions within their own departments.

Participants are attending the seminar sessions taking place at the Palace of Culture with great interest.

For reference: Ravshan Juraevich Ishmuhamedov is a qualified specialist in innovative educational technologies with many years of experience in the field of retraining and professional development of pedagogical staff. He is the author of scientific-methodological manuals in the direction of “Innovative Educational Technologies in the Educational Process” and widely applies methods based on interactive teaching, practice-oriented education, and elements of training and coaching in his activities. The methods proposed by R.J. Ishmuhamedov are significant for their focus on improving the professional competence of professors and teachers, increasing student activity, and ensuring the effectiveness of the educational process.
