An international scientific and practical conference on “Current Issues of Uzbek Philology” was held at JSPU.

The 4th traditional International Scientific-Practical Conference on the topic “Current Issues of Uzbek Philology and Problems of its Teaching Methodology” was held by the Department of “Methods of Teaching Uzbek Literature” at the Faculty of Philology of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The event was organized in accordance with the 2025 International and Republic Scientific Conferences plan, approved by Order No. 490 dated December 27, 2024.

Professors and teachers from the Andijan, Namangan, Bukhara, Tashkent, Samarkand, and Fergana regions of Uzbekistan, as well as leading scholars from Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan, participated in the conference with their scientific articles and presentations.

During the event, it was announced that a book titled “Current Issues of Uzbek Philology and Problems of its Teaching Methodology,” compiling scientific research on Uzbek literature and its teaching methodology, has been published.

One of the conference’s honorary guests — Ilhom Yusupov, Chairman of the Uzbek Spirituality and Enlightenment Center of Sughd Region, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, and recipient of the “Do‘stlik” (“Friendship”) Order — gave a lecture on the topic “Tajikistan-Uzbekistan Literary Relations” and also gifted books to the university.

Furthermore, presentations by scholars from Khujand State University, the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University were also heard. The speeches by JSPU professors U. Kosimov, Z. Pardayeva, and N. Soatova made a great impression on the participants.
