Another seminar-training was held at JSPU as part of the “Every Saturday — Continuous Professional Development Day” initiative.

Within the initiative declared as “Every Saturday – Continuous Professional Development Day,” another seminar-training for professors and teachers was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The event was organized at the University’s Culture Palace.

The leadership of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and teaching staff participated in this seminar-training.

At the beginning of the event, the head of the Education Management Department, Tursunov Diyor, gave a lecture on the topic “The visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Jizzakh region and his speech at the extraordinary session of the Jizzakh Regional Council of People’s Deputies.”

Furthermore, a lecture on the topic “Preparing talented students for international and subject Olympiads” was delivered by the Director of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical University Academic Lyceum, Bozormurod Abduvohidov. It paid special attention to working with talented youth, supporting them, and bringing them to the international arena.

During the event, a practical seminar-training on the topic “Creating a profile in Scopus and ResearchGate databases and preparing a scientific article” was organized by Ozodbek Ne’matov, a teacher at the Department of General History, Faculty of History. It provided necessary recommendations on operating in international scientific databases, and preparing and publishing articles.

At the conclusion of the seminar-training, a brief Q&A session was held between the speakers and participants, with comprehensive discussion of issues that interested the teachers.
