G. Kadirov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of the university, opened the science-practical conference, which was held with the participation of advanced scientists of the field from different parts of our country. In his speech, he wished success to the work of the scientific conference dedicated to the high plants of Jizzakh region, the level of study, improvement prospects, and the integration of science and education.

At the conference, lectures were given on topics such as “New Generation” floristic research and its role in protecting regional biological diversity, studying the experience of higher education institutions in developed countries and introducing mechanisms for its implementation (using the example of the Aegean University), new views on the species Tulipa L., phylogeny and biogeography of the genus Eremurus M.Bieb., flora of the hills of the Fergana Valley and the role of modern research, as modern problems and solutions to biotechnology, the importance of a rare crop. The second half of the conference, which was held on the basis of questions and answers and debates, was divided into branches.
