Two geniuses, two priceless…
That’s the name of the event held at JSPU.

The artistic evening titled “Two Geniuses – Two Priceless Ones”, prepared by professors, teachers and students of the Uzbek language and literature, was dedicated to the 584th anniversary of the great thinker, the sultan of the ghazal realm, A. Navoi, and the 542nd anniversary of the king, poet, and statesman Z. Babur.

The evening was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the University, S. Nazarkasimov. In his speech, he emphasized that the invaluable creative and scientific heritage left by the great poet and thinker, statesman and public figure Alisher Navoi and Z.M. Babur for our national culture and literature, and their rare literary works have been attracting peoples of the world for centuries.

The speakers at the event also acknowledged that Navoi created a unique garden based on the Turkic language and amazed the world, while Babur transformed this vast garden in the flowerbed of Turkic poetry into a true garden and was a guide for artists in India. That is why their work is still being studied diligently.
