The university stage of the “Five Initiatives Olympiad” has begun.

At Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, the university stage of the “Five Initiatives Olympiad” has begun with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, enhancing their physical activity, and developing teamwork skills within the framework of the five important initiatives.

The ceremonial opening was inaugurated by the university rector, Professor Maqsudjon Yuldashev.

In his speech, he said: “Today, the teams selected from among the groups will compete in interfaculty contests. The university’s national team will be formed from among the winners. I wish each of you enthusiasm, team spirit, and great success. Be the winners!” — inspiring the participants with his encouraging words.

After that, the floor was given to the chief referee of the competition, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Professor Furqat Ahmedov. He introduced the competition rules and evaluation criteria and wished all the teams the best of luck.

The ceremonial event concluded with a song dedicated to the “Five Initiatives.”

In today’s competitions, nine teams are participating in mini-football. The matches are taking place in an exciting and highly spirited atmosphere. The strongest team will advance to the final, where they will traditionally face the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports team. We wish all teams success and victory!
