The ‘Five Initiatives Olympiad’ sports competitions have commenced.

Today, an important event in the lives of our youth took place at our university — the opening of the ‘Five Initiatives Olympiad’ sports competitions. This event is being organized on the instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation with the aim of making students’ leisure time more meaningful, strengthening their health, and supporting their talents.

From September 20 to 30, our students will compete in mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, athletics, and streetball. Initially, teams selected within the faculties will then advance to the interfaculty stage and subsequently compete step by step in the republican tournaments for the championship.

At the opening ceremony, University Rector Maqsudjon Yuldashev emphasized that the ‘Five Initiatives Olympiad’ serves as a platform for the energy, friendship, and solidarity of youth, and he wished all participants success

The first day of the competitions was opened by the students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. We are confident that the Olympiad will provide our students not only with victories but also with the opportunity to strengthen friendship and team spirit.
