The 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution was widely celebrated at the university.

A ceremonial event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The event was opened by the university’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Haqberdi Hamzayev. Parviz Azimov, a responsible employee of the Jizzakh Regional Prosecutor’s Office, delivered a lecture on the new edition of our Constitution and its significance.

 

During the event, winners of the university stage of the “Most Active Student of the Year” Republic contest; winners of the contests for “Best Drawings,” “Best Essays,” and “Best Video Clips” on the theme “Youth Says No to Corruption!”; winners of the scientific articles contest on the theme “The Constitution – Guarantee of a Free and Prosperous Life”; winners and prize-winners of the “Constitution” Olympiad among students; as well as professors and teachers who achieved high results in public affairs were awarded with honorary certificates, monetary prizes, and commemorative gifts. The award ceremony was held solemnly with the participation of the university’s vice-rectors and the chairman of the trade union committee.

The festive event organized on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of our Main Law continued with demonstrative performances by servicemen of the National Guard for the Jizzakh region and the 25-931 military unit. The entertaining and exciting moments presented by the military personnel were met with sincere applause from all spectators.

The festive event concluded with artistic performances by students of the History Faculty about the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a concert program prepared by the university’s artistic ensemble.
