The textbook “World Literature of Peoples” (Part 1) has been published by the “Elm va tahsil” publishing house in Baku, through the collaboration of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
This textbook provides information on the classification of world literatures and their distinctive features, specifically covering the literatures of peoples belonging to the Caucasian, Persian, Italian, German, Slavic, Ugro-Finnic, Greek, Indian, and other language groups. Furthermore, the textbook also contains comprehensive information about Nobel Prize-winning writers, poets, and playwrights.
The textbook is intended for students of philology faculties in higher educational institutions, master’s and doctoral students, scientific researchers, and a wide range of readers interested in world literatures.
