A ceremonial event was held at the university on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In the early morning, students, youth, and volunteers, holding flags, lined up in the main building area and greeted the professors, teachers, staff, and students entering the university in a festive spirit.

To the sounds of music, each incoming participant was pinned with an emblem featuring the symbol of the national flag.

Following this, the ceremonial part of the festive event began. The event was opened by the university’s First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Farrukh Akchayev, who spoke about the sanctity of the national flag, its importance as a symbol of patriotism and statehood, and congratulated everyone on this auspicious occasion.

During the event, the floor was given to the poetess Mehriniso Abdurahmonova. While sincerely congratulating the participants on the holiday, she recited excerpts from her poem dedicated to our flag.

At the conclusion of the ceremonial part, the flags were raised symbolically by the student youth, expressing respect and loyalty to the state symbol.
