An important meeting was organized at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University with a delegation from the international organization “VSO” and a representative of USAID.
The main purpose of the visit was to discuss expanding cooperation in the field of education, launching joint projects, and initiatives aimed at enhancing teacher capacity.



The meeting was attended by Purna Kumar Shrestha, a global education specialist from the VSO organization, Zuhra Saliyeva, the regional representative of the VSO organization, University Rector Maqsudjon Yuldashev, and other responsible persons.



The meeting agenda discussed the following issues: opportunities for engaging VSO’s international and local volunteers in the educational institution in the areas of English language, STEM, special pedagogy, and digital literacy; developing joint professional development programs for primary and general secondary education teachers; and implementing pilot projects on inclusive education in schools affiliated with the university:


As a practical part of the meeting, the guests familiarized themselves with the university’s main building. The delegation members visited the “Memory of the Victims of Repression” museum under the university’s structure and closely acquainted themselves with the university’s history, scientific and educational potential, and the created conditions.






The meeting was an important step in developing mutually beneficial cooperation and laid a solid foundation for the implementation of a number of joint projects in the future.
