At the Jahon Celebrations Venue, a vibrant festive event was held on October 1 in honor of Teachers and Mentors Day.

Professors, lecturers, and staff of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University were also invited to this event.

The ceremony was opened by Akmal Savurbayev, Deputy Governor of the region. In his speech, he congratulated teachers and mentors on their professional holiday and highly praised their dedicated work.

The university rector, Maqsudjon Yuldashev, also took the floor and warmly congratulated the teachers and mentors on the occasion. In his speech, he emphasized:

“With your hard work, dedication, and commitment, our university will continue to develop, and I am confident that within the next two years it will earn a worthy place in the top-1000 list of the world’s most prestigious higher education institutions.”

After that, an award ceremony took place. Teachers who had been honored with state awards on the eve of the holiday, as well as those who received honorary certificates and badges from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, and the university rector, were ceremoniously recognized.

The songs and dances performed by the university’s artistic ensemble added even more charm to the celebration. Heartfelt wishes, sincere congratulations, lively songs, and dances further elevated the festive spirit.

This celebration filled hearts with joy. The holiday truly lived up to its name.
