Activities of clubs at the university
A total of 103 clubs operate at the university in order to provide students with a meaningful free time, develop their scientific, creative and sports potential, as well as support talented youth. 9,514 students regularly participate in these clubs. Of these, 1,595 students’ activities were evaluated based on established criteria.Club areas:
Creative clubs — 19. 2,958 students are members, 572 of them were evaluated. These clubs serve to develop students’ creative abilities, enhance their interest in stage culture, art and artistic creativity.Scientific clubs — 11. 153 out of 693 members were evaluated. These clubs are organized to involve students in scientific research, write articles and theses, and prepare them for participation in conferences.
Science clubs — 45. There are 3,616 members, 549 of whom have been evaluated. The main goal is to direct students to a deeper study of their specialty, to combine theory and practice.
Clubs — 7. There are 1,038 student members, 182 of whom have been evaluated. Clubs help students increase their social activity, develop leadership, teamwork, and initiative skills.
Sports clubs — 21. There are 1,209 members, 139 of whom have been evaluated. Sports clubs serve to form a healthy lifestyle, increase physical activity, and prepare students for sports competitions.
According to the data, the largest number of students is involved in science clubs (3,616), which indicates that students are interested in deepening their scientific knowledge. Also, the participation of students in creative clubs is high (2,958), which demonstrates the interest of young people in art and culture. Although the number of students participating in science clubs is relatively small (693), the activity in this area is qualitatively higher, since participants are regularly engaged in scientific articles, theses, and innovative projects. The participation of 1,209 students in sports clubs reflects their attention to a healthy lifestyle.
In general, university clubs play an important role in the all-round development of students and help them become mature specialists in the future.
