Anora Jabborova, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English Language Theory and Practice at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, successfully participated in the international research internship competition announced by the Agency for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and was selected as a winner.
As a result of the competition, she is currently undergoing a research internship at the University of Portsmouth, one of the leading higher education institutions in the United Kingdom. This internship is funded by the Fund for Financing Science and Supporting Innovations under the Agency for Innovative Development. The project aims to enhance the scientific potential of Uzbek researchers, strengthen international scientific cooperation, and introduce advanced experience and innovative approaches into the higher education system of Uzbekistan.




During her internship at the University of Portsmouth, Associate Professor Jabborova is gaining in-depth exposure to international academic practices, modern research methods, and innovative approaches in education. She is also acquiring practical skills in understanding the structure of the UK education system, planning scientific research, and integrating pedagogical innovations into the teaching and learning process.



This internship not only contributes to enhancing the academic qualifications of the faculty member but also plays a vital role in expanding Jizzakh State Pedagogical University’s international scientific relations. The initiative is of great importance in establishing new academic partnerships and applying modern educational strategies within higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. Through such research internships, the goal is to encourage young scholars and researchers, promote innovative scientific projects, and further strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the global academic arena.
