Webster University delegation in Jizzakh.
“Our partnership will open our way to the United States,” says university rector Sh. Sharipov

The visit of the delegation, led by Dr. Anthony Jarvis, began with a meeting dedicated to cooperation.

At the meeting, a discussion was held on the establishment of the MA TESOL master’s degree program at the university. In the end, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation. It is gratifying that now young people from Jizzakh will also have the opportunity to study at an international level master’s degree program in English language teaching.

At the end of the meeting, the guests were presented with souvenirs with the symbols of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. After that, the guests got acquainted with the conditions created for students at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, observed the teaching process. They talked with teachers and students. They visited the sights of the university, including the 24/7 information service center, the Palace of Culture, the “Professors’ Garden”, and sports grounds.
