These days, senators in the regions are meeting with young people and engaging in direct dialogue with them.
In particular, Senator Husan Ermatov, a member of the Senate Committee on Science, Education and Healthcare, held a meeting with students at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.




The meeting, organized to further increase the interest of young people in the profession, their place in our society, and their political literacy, was attended by deputies of the Jizzakh Regional Council of People’s Deputies, university students, and young people from Jizzakh. The meeting, held in the form of a sincere dialogue, was devoted to the topics of the benefits created for young people in the fields of education and science, news in the field of sports, and work being carried out to discover talented and gifted young people in the fields of culture and art.




It was noted that today, support for talented youth, creating new opportunities for them, identifying and solving their problems is a constant focus, and for this purpose, the Youth Parliament was established under the Senate, which is consistently working to improve standards for youth rights and resolve issues affecting youth life. The meeting also discussed the opportunities provided to young people today, in particular, additional benefits created for girls in the field of education. During the conversation, students and young people were informed about the work of the parliament and senators.





More than 60 percent of the population of our country is young people. Therefore, it is an important task to take measures to ensure their quality education, improve the system of vocational training for young people, and create new jobs for them. H. Irmatov, while talking with young people, specifically touched upon the conditions being created for them, emphasizing that young people should be encouraged, and that they should take bold steps towards the plans and goals they have set for themselves, making the most of the opportunities provided today. The senator shared his life path and experiences with the students and young people. The proposals and opinions of the young people who participated in the meeting were listened to. At the end of the meeting, it was noted that every opinion and suggestion of young people is important for the development of our society, and it is necessary to hold more such meetings and listen to them.


The “Senator and Youth” meeting ended with the guests’ visit to the new information resource center, which was renovated on the eve of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and is currently operating 24/7, as well as the “Memory of Victims of Repression” and “History of the University” museums established within the university structure.
