The opening ceremony of the new Student Dormitory was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. Students moved into the new 600-bed Student Dormitory.
Along with the increasing participation of young people in higher education, the need for dormitories is also increasing. A new 4th student dormitory designed for 600 places was put into operation at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The construction of the dormitory was carried out on the basis of a Public Private Partnership. The total cost of the project for the construction, design, reconstruction, equipment and commissioning of the facility amounted to 37,009,660,000 (thirty-seven billion nine million six hundred sixty million) soums. The entrepreneur invested 19,009,660,000 (nineteen billion nine million six hundred sixty thousand) soums from his own funds.
The number of student dormitories under the university’s jurisdiction has now reached 3. The new building has 7 floors and an elevator. All conditions have been created for students. The student dormitory, built on a modern project, has a modern kitchen for students to eat, a spiritual room enriched with textbooks, artistic and scientific, educational literature, a room for intellectuals, a room equipped with the most modern computers for students to improve their knowledge and skills in information and communication technologies, laundry and washing rooms.
Those who spoke at the opening ceremony of the student dormitory emphasized that the opportunities being created for today’s youth and the handover of such student dormitories were a real celebration for university students. Of course, we would not be wrong if we said that the creation of such opportunities will encourage students to receive a better education and contribute to the prosperity of our Motherland.
The opening ceremony of the student dormitory was followed by a press tour for media and public representatives. The press tour participants got acquainted with all the conditions created in the newly built dormitory No. 4, designed for 600 beds.
