The “Prosecutor and Youth” meeting, held at Jizzakh State University under the slogan “Let’s unite, youth of the new Uzbekistan!”, began with the guests getting acquainted with the conditions created at the university. Representatives led by the rector of the university presented information to the guests about the 50th anniversary of the university. After that, the regional prosecutor visited the conditions created for young people to receive quality education, including classrooms, a registrar’s office, sports fields, and the newly renovated IRC. The guests’ acquaintance with the university ended with a sapling planting ceremony in the “Professors’ Garden” established on the territory of the university. Jizzakh regional prosecutor Bakhtiyor Ibrohimov planted his own tree in the “Professors’ Garden”.

The main part of the “Prosecutor and Youth” meeting continued in the university’s Palace of Culture. The event, which was attended by students from all universities in the Jizzakh region, was opened by Farzona Adilova, Head of the Jizzakh City Youth Affairs Agency.

Recommendations to students At the meeting, which was held on the basis of open dialogue and questions and answers, the Prosecutor of the Jizzakh region Bakhtiyor Ibrohimov outlined the content and essence of the Law, Decree, Resolution and all regulatory documents and large-scale practical reforms within the framework of state policy on youth in our country. The results achieved by young people today were recognized. Some of the unpleasant situations that arise among young people, such as delinquency and crime, and their consequences, were condemned through real-life examples.

After that, a number of issues were raised regarding cooperation between students and young people with the prosecutor and the prosecutor’s office, such as obtaining quality education, organizing various competitions, dialogues, master classes, and internships. In order to further improve the knowledge and skills of young people in their field of study, the “Assistants of Public Prosecutors” project was put forward by young people. 30 talented and active students were introduced as assistants of prosecutors and were awarded certificates.

The “Prosecutor and Youth” meeting concluded with a ceremony to award students who achieved high results in several sports in the region and the republic.
