Scientific-practical seminar on the topic “History of ethno-cultural relations of the Uzbek and Kazakh peoples” organized in cooperation with the Center “Ethnology and Anthropology” of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan was attended by Akhmet Valkhanuli Toqtabay, Doctor of History, Researcher of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Adkhamjon Ashirov, Doctor of History, Head of the Center “Ethnology and Anthropology” of the History Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Dosimbetov Nurlibek Azamatuli, a researcher at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. First, a meeting of the guests with the university management was organized. The guests expressed their gratitude for the invitation, as well as talking about the strengthening of international relations, the similarities of the values and national traditions of the two peoples.
At the end of the conversation, the guests were presented with a collection of books “Towards the University” published on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of JSPU.
Establishing scientific cooperative relations between Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, History Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Center “Ethnology and Anthropology” and History Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, historical scientists, scientific researchers, doctoral students. He is also dedicated to researching the ethno-cultural aspects of the customs and ceremonies of the Kazakhs living in the Jizzakh oasis, preparing scientific grants, publishing co-authored articles and scientific pamphlets on the study of their holy places and shrines, material and spiritual culture in the oasis. The seminar was held at the Faculty of History.
Professors and teachers of the history faculty of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, basic doctoral students, independent researchers, masters and students took part in the seminar. At the end of the seminar, the guests visited the newly opened archaeological museum.
