The 1st-year students of the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical University had an interesting master class dedicated to the Maslenitsa holiday.
The lecture class began with a trip to the interesting history of the Maslenitsa holiday. The holiday program included Russian folk songs and dances, various fun games, contests. Folk songs and dances, traditional Russian table competitions are among them.
At the event, students took an active part in a quiz on Russian folk proverbs and sayings, testing their knowledge of proverbs and sayings related to Maslenitsa. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the competition.
