Former graduates of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University met in their dear place of education.
The yard of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University is more crowded than usual today. Not to mention classrooms and hallways. About 300 guests from different parts of our country came to the university today. It is not difficult to notice that the former graduates passing through the red corridors are excited as if they have fallen into the golden era of real studentship.
Those who came to the reunion attended the faculties that are dear to them. The event, which took place in the circle of teachers and relatives, was full of interesting conversations and impressions. The guests were informed about the changes that took place in the life of the educational institution, the updates applied to the educational process.
Warm memories of student years were recalled at the meeting. Former graduates got acquainted with the conditions created for students. They participated in lectures.
A press tour was organized for former graduates.
During the press tour, the participants were introduced to the wide-scale work being carried out at the university, in particular, the newly started office of the Registrar, the activities of the library, and the “Memorial Museum of Repression Victims” established under the university structure.
First, the guests got acquainted with the library equipped with the most modern equipment, capable of holding 50 thousand books. After that, our historical heroes visited the museum, which is working to perpetuate the memory of the victims of repression. Also, the participants of the press tour got acquainted with the updates implemented in the Registrar’s office, which was opened at the Jizzakh State Pedagogical University as one of the first in the country.
