Student-athletes were awarded

As you know, on January 18-26, the Asian Boxing Championship among adults was held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

4 students of the Faculty of Physical Culture of JSPU participated in the Asian Championship and returned to Thailand as winners. Our student athletes returned to our country with a bright face. Today these sports students were solemnly welcomed to the university. At the beginning, in the conversation with the team of the Faculty of Physical Culture, the dean of the faculty F. Ahmedov said that all teachers and students are proud of our sportsmen and that they have rightfully achieved these achievements.

After that, our student-athletes were specially recognized by the academic council of the university. Our student athletes, who raised the flag of our country, the honor of our region, and our university, and introduced it to the whole world, were awarded with letters of thanks and souvenirs by the rector of the university Sh. Sharipov.

The speakers at the awarding ceremony wished gold medalists Jakhongir Zokirov, Nigina Oktamova, silver medalist Aziza Qurbanova, bronze medalist Sabohat Hushvaktova to achieve higher results.
