The 3rd meeting of the Council of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University was held. It was attended by the university leadership, Council members, and officials of the relevant structural units.

The 3rd meeting of the Council began with an award ceremony. During it, diplomas were ceremoniously presented to the university’s professors and teachers who were awarded scientific degrees and academic titles by the Higher Attestation Commission.

First, the work being carried out at the university to further improve the social and spiritual environment and to enhance the quality and effectiveness of educational and upbringing processes was discussed. Reports were heard from responsible officials on the current situation in this area, the results achieved, and the tasks related to strengthening a healthy spiritual environment in the educational institution.

Furthermore, attention was paid to the process of preparing the university for international and state accreditation, ensuring the implementation of established requirements, and improving educational programs and areas of activity based on the relevant criteria.

The next item on the agenda was dedicated to the status and effectiveness of organizing pedagogical practice based on the “4+2” model. It reviewed the work on harmonizing students’ theoretical knowledge with practice, developing cooperation with educational organizations, improving the quality of pedagogical practice, as well as introducing digital technologies into the educational process, existing problems, and priority tasks.

At the meeting, the issue of improving the university’s position in international rankings was also discussed separately. In particular, information was provided on the work being carried out to enhance the effectiveness of activities based on the criteria of international ranking organizations, and to further develop scientific potential, education quality, international cooperation, and academic results.

The meeting also reviewed the content of new regulatory legal documents related to the higher education system. In particular, explanations were provided on the essence of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF–209 dated September 29, 2026, “On Measures to Improve the System of Training Personnel in the Form of Dual Education in Higher Education,” and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 525 dated September 29, 2026, “On the Introduction of a Quality Index for Graduates of Higher Education Organizations.”
