A Celebration Entitled “My Mother Tongue — My Pride” Was Held at JSPU.

On the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the granting of state language status to the Uzbek language, a festive event on the theme “My Native Language — My Pride, My Glory” was organized at the Palace of Culture of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The event was attended by the university rector, Professor Maksudjan Yuldashev, professors and teachers of the Higher School of Philological Pedagogy, and students. The university rector opened the event and expressed his thoughts on the role of the native language in preserving national identity, spiritual heritage, and national values.

The event program included a lecture on the theme “Language — the Pride of the Nation,” a presentation titled “From Heritage to the Future,” poetic compositions, musical performances, national dances, and stage performances presented to the participants. The artistic performances by the students expressed ideas of respect for the native language, national pride, and love for the Motherland.

Furthermore, talented students who won the creative works competition on the theme “My Native Language — My Pride” were awarded.

The event served to enhance the prestige of our native language, strengthen the feeling of respect for the language in the younger generation, and promote loyalty to national values.
